The twentieth century saw landmark changes in the significance of women’s roles in all aspects of civic engagement, business, and culture. This exhibition celebrates women through a series of portraits by some of Toronto's most exceptional visual artists of Iranian decent making work today. Featured in the exhibition are drawings, oil paintings, lithographs, and photographs that depict the strong faces of women who bring hope to our communities by embracing change and encouraging growth towards building a truly pluralistic society.
